LambertLambert Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 My "comfort/power" transmission switch is stuck in the comfort mode. I pulled it out and got the part number, but I haven't had any luck finding a replacement. It's an Indak switch, part # 8956000025. Anyone have any ideas about where to get one? Thanks!
LambertLambert Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 Well, I should have just Googled the number 8956000025! Rockauto has it listed as a fog light switch. It looks like the right one. Anyone have any experience with replacing this switch? Is this the right one? Thanks!
Geonovast Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Not sure which wires, but you should just hardwire it into power mode and forget the switch.

I have a whole box of them.
LambertLambert Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 Yeah, Correy, I thought about doing that. I decided to go ahead and order it from RockAuto.
LambertLambert Posted February 16, 2011 Author Posted February 16, 2011 FYI, the fog light switch from RockAuto did the trick.
HOrnbrod Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Amazing. These switches do lock up all the time from lack of use, common problem. Sometimes they can be freed up using a good douche bath of contact cleaner. Glad you get 'er done.
