JeffN
I just pulled the transmission out of my 87 jeep comanche 4L. This will be the 3rd time I have had to pull it because of the TO bearing leaking. Does the AX5 have a sleeve the bearing rides on? There is not one on mine and it seems it would allow it to wobble. The pin and retaining clip were intact.
Geonovast
No, internal slaves do not have a sleeve on the bearing retainer. There is an alignment peg on the retainer that it has to be sitting on though, or it'll make a nasty noise when you push in the clutch.
