Hubbell
first off the mj is an 87, 2.5, ax4, 2wd problem started all of the sudden. it will start but won't stay running, i can feather the pedal to keep it going but let off the gas and it stalls out. I just don't know where to start in the search function but this 2.5 is new to me and i need some CC knowledge, of course this started when I'm in the middle of moving and had the trailer loaded already. :fs1: so where do i start

airspeed
In my manual they show a special TEE fitting with a pressure gauge that goes between the throttle body and the input fuel line. I think the pressure should be ~14psi.

Hubbell
also on the 2.5 where is the map sensor located?
rnobles
MAP sensor is on the firewall almost directly behind the throttle body, kinda between the throttle body and valve cover. (at least thats where its at on my 86)
Hubbell
its only been months but finally had a chance to work on my problem. ended up being the fuel pump, not sure if the pump was actually bad but the rubber hose in the tank was gone so probably could have just changed that one dollar part and it would have, maybe, worked. oh well. thanks for the input, alot of posts are gone because of the Houdini sunday thing, but thanks just the same.
