DodgeFan01
Hey guys, I just bought some new mirrors that go in the little triangle corner of the doors and I guess I need to get some hardware to bolt them on. It has the 3 plastic stubs that go into the holes on the door, so do I just get some screws that screw into these stubs? I saw one post where it was recomended to get allen head screws so they are lower profile and won't get in the way of the inside triangle cover. I just want to make sure I bolt these on right and don't jack them up! Any recommendations? Adam
jimoshel
As they come from the factory they used TORX screws. I have seen replaced ones using common bolts.
MJRemi
Mine are on with TORX screws. Hard to believe the new mirrors didn't come with screws. Go to junkyard and pull the screws from a Cherokee or take the mirrors with you to an autoparts store to ensure the new screws fit.
