Rymanrph Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I got a junkyard AW4 and they cut all the wires and lines, so i'm having to swap them over from my old one. I can't figure out how to remove the NSS. There is a 12mm bolt and a 22mm nut that I have removed, but it doesn't want to come. From what I've read, I just need to apply more force, but I'm afraid I'll break something. What am I supposed to do?
Rymanrph Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Soak it with penetrating oil and let set. I didn't realize that it just slid over the the shaft like that. A little PB blaster and a little persuasion and it came right off (my old trans, still need to do the new one). Thanks.
