CCV conversion..?

I'm still trying to figure this out.. The plastic vacuum hose won't fit into the front hole... Will probably break... And the back hole. The big hose on the manche is too small for the hole on the valve cover. What should I do?

Is there any kind of hose that I can replace the vacuum hose with? That's flexible? And for the other hose, from the airbox. Is there a replacement for that too?

Thanks.

when I did my, um, custom airbox, I just went to the parts store and found a size of rubber vacuum tube that fit the bill. might want to check the 'Help' section too for different sizes of valve cover fittings.

I'm not all that familiar with the wranglers, but on my 4.0s, both are rubber plugs with holes in the middle. Got replacements at the parts store in the "help" section. think they were listed as Ford parts.

and the middle one is of course the oil cap.

Hmmm. Ok, thanks.

I got it off ebay and the title said.. "AMC Jeep 2.5L valve cover" in the description it said it would fit 92-up. It did fit, but I don't know what the system goes to... Might contact seller and ask.

doesn't matter much, but typically the hose from the filterbox to the valve cover (the fresh air coming in) is larger than the hose running from the valve cover to the intake manifold (which sucks the bad fumes out and puts them into the engine to burn)

But in the end, it'll be ok to have them the same size if that's easier to do.
