driveshaft

Anybody have measurement of the driveshaft for a swb-2.5-ax5-231-D 35. I checked the write-up on the length and nobody has added it yet. I went from 2wd to 4wd and need to cut the shaft down.

Any help would be awsome... :help:

I want to say it's right around 43.5" or so, but don't quote me on that. If noone else can confirm, I've got my stock 'shaft down in storage and can go measure it for you.

edit: on second thought, that may be the measurement between the spring perches on the rear axle.....I confuse easily in my old age after about 10 beers or so :D

Measure the distance between the 2 shafts, the output shaft from transfer case and the end of the pinion from the differential. If it's a D35 subtract 3.5 inches from that measurement. That will be the length you need.
