WahooSteeler
I've been scarce for awhile, pretty busy with life like the rest you all. Anyhoo, this is a call-out to Don Hornbrod..........when did you get those Turbines I just saw on one of your posts? Those are money!!
HOrnbrod
Thanks Wahoo. I like them too. Found a clean set and had them blasted and refinished by a local shop. Always preferred the 10-spokers over the others.
terrawombat
In the spirit of keeping the truck as original as possible, I think they look outstanding. But I like the Ravine style better :D

But I like the Ravine style better :D Agreed. Your truck is so cherry that it's a toss up for me. The Ravines made it more "up to date", but the Turbines are so "Comanche". This may be weird, but I think I'd love the Turbines even more without your cap, just straight pickup truck. And a rollbar. And KC's. LOL, basically it would look like it just rolled off the showroom floor or drove out of the brochure. Take that cap off one Saturday and shoot a pic or have somebody on here photoshop it off. I'm telling you, it'll look even sweeter w/out the cap on there. IMHO........ :dunno:
HOrnbrod
I had a NOS factory "sport" bar laying around for years (since sold) with intentions of doing just that. Pulled the cap and set the bar in the bed, and didn't like it. The sport bars look great on the SWB MJs, but not on the LWB IMHO. And yes, like the turbines because of the originality. Yup, agree on that too, sport bar looks better on SWB. Being that I'm a LWB fan, next time you take that cap off snap a pic. Chit, it don't matter, any way you slice it your truck is ch...ch....cherry!
