Hooked
I have an 87 MJ that the frame is all rotted out from the trans to the rear.I have two MJ's and took the worst one and cut the cab off to take frame measurements. Any Ideas on what size tubing to use to replace the rear half of my MJ frame? We've driven this for 20 year and can't stand the idea of junking it. Hooked
I plated the frame several years ago. I have a section that 2 ft of the bottom has fallen out. To Z cut the frame and replace the rear half is a lot of work with a uni-body but with patience it can be done. Michigan winters are hard on frames and floor pans. The floor pans need replacing anyway so cutting around the rear of the cab and replacing it won't be to bad. I just don't know how heavy of tubing I should use. I can make the flat bed I built fit any frame. I'm having a problem posting pic's. when I master Pic's I will post before and after along with progress.
