New Fuel Tank

Like the title says i need a new fuel tank, JC whitney has them fro about $150. i would like to find a plastic tank or a cheaper tank does anyone know where i can get one?

What ever standard is for a short bed haha i think its about 18 gallons. i filled it one time just to find out it leaks around the filler neck.

sure it's not the filler tube rotted out?

 

I've heard they are on ebay for about 100.

Get a total from J.C. Whitney, including freight. Then look at Ebay and add in freight costs. Pick the least expensive.

 

Be aware that you can not ship a used tank, because of gas vapors that may be in the tank.

 

Also, check out getting the old tank repaired locally. May be the best thing to do.
