crossmember conversion???

have a 88 shortbed 4x4 has oringinal engine 6,had a b-10 swapped with ax-15 and noticed the crossmember location is different i guess cause of the lengthn of tranny put a 1997 cherokee member on it but my ? is do i have to tap for new bolt relocation or is there another way thanks :fs1:

When I did both my conversions, the threaded holes were already there.

I just cleaned them out with a tap and they were good to go.

I'm talking about the holes on the frame the crossmember doesnt want to go in factory position thanks :clapping:

Yeah. We know.

 

The holes should be there and they should have weld nuts behind them.
