rain_darkness
was looking for specs such as bore, stroke compression of stock motor... wanting info on if it has cast or forged pistons. if heads can be port&polished/bigger valves.. ignition an injector upgrades... engine rebuild parts and intructions. any way to program/tune stock ECU or ugrade? was thinking about supercharging one. basically looking for info on what all needs to be done to do that. or if it would just be easier to bore an stroke. (was going to use a supercharger from a 3.8v6 Pontiac, figured could fab a mount for it right over the intake manifold, on SC'r the intake is on opposite side from pulley so i would be facing the firewall was just gonna rout it up like a snorkel... upgrade the throttle body on SC'r (bigger mm) and hook it up, basically deleting the stock 4.0 throttle body
Jeepman
I have Supercharged a 05 Jeep Rubicon and The internals can handle it fine However I would recommend you use a Ford Mustang/Thunderbird Supercoupe M90 rather then the Chevy M90 you are planning... You will have to increase fuel delivery and fuel pressure as well as the Fuel Injectors... You should also use the Newer 99+ intake manifold for better intake air flow... I have done it once and will be doing it again on my Stroker engine that will be going into my MJ to replace my slightly modified 4.0L I have now... The one off for the 05 was not installed in my first choice of locations but the customer wanted to keep his A/C so if you do not have A/C then I would mount it where the A/C bracket is which helps with Hood clearence.... I have pictures uploaded on my Facebook page so Look up Jeepman's offroad on Facebook...
