rejeep Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I took a peek at my starter yesterday... let me just say I have pulled countless starters.. and I couldnt even see where the bolts were... Chiltons was no help, any direction? I did find the upper one facing the front, but no others.
jeepthing07 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Its just like a GM starter bolts they go stright up into the engine block. The bolts are external torx i don't remember what size.
rejeep Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 ahh i did see thoes.. so its the two of thoes and the one in the back? they looked like a E10.. figured it was something stupid like that.
aemsee Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Just the two torx. One in the back is a bellhousing bolt? Watch for shims when you pull it.
