Wirring up license plate light's?

I'm having a little trouble wiring up my license plate light's for my 87 comanche. I got three different wire's coming from the driver side tail light which are two black and one blue and i have one more from the passenger side which is just one blue wire. I keep getting pulled over for this not having the license plate lite up. does anybody have any suggestion's or know how to wire them up? :huh???:

I pulled the rear harness off a JY MJ when I pulled the tail lights and it is still hooked up to the license plate light I can post a pic later.

blue wire with a bullet connector is positive, black wire is negative, comanches came with 2 blue and 2 black wires for either single or dual liscense plate lights

Here is a pic of my harness, unfortunately one blue wire is cut... :-(
