after I fixed my vacuum hoses to keep engine run proper and unnecessary to feed gas all the way to keep engine alive, it runs much better. but it died after test with highbeam which it draw enough amp from battery then engine died. so do u think its possible because of battery to die after testing with the highbeams?

You are asking that is it possible for the battery to die when the high beams are on?

Yes but not with a functioning (or properly operating) alternator.

Easy killer. You need to figure out if you have proper charging voltage before you pull out the parts shotgun. Check your voltage with the Jeep running, and let us know what it is.

You should pick one up. If the truck was running at the time you had the lights on like you said, then died, the alternator was most likely toast. You'll just cook another battery if you put the new one in and try again without checking the system.

a multimeter is cheap at harbor freight. like $5 on sale. a u-pull-it yard will be cheap for a alternator and battery. i got a nearly new autocraft silver for $25 at my local yard a few weeks ago.

I still think that before you replace everything you NEED to figure out if all systems are go in the truck. Buy, borrow, or steal a voltmeter before ya drive me batty, and check the system. For all you know it could have just been a loose wire/cable, and your throwing parts at it wasting money.
