87Chief Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Alright guys, I visited my Comanche again (in Alabama) and I crawled under it, and I see oil EVERYWHERE! Like all around the engine.. What could cause this?
Bounty Hunter Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 My '89 2.5L does the same thing, and I think it's pushing it out the dipstick tube at higher RPM's. Also check the oil gauge sending unit just fore of the distributor.
Automan2164 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Check the valve cover. If thats leaking it will be running down the block from there, and cover everything. Also, any breather tubes that are no longer attached to the air box or a bad oil cap can spew out. My money is on the valve cover though. Rob L.
87Chief Posted August 18, 2010 Author Posted August 18, 2010 There is gunk around the valve cover... But I don't even drive it and its leaking really bad... What is the hose connecting on top, near the valve cover, I did see some oil around there.
