92comanche4x4 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 ok i jus did new pads, calipers, hoses, an rotors both sides in the front. and can't get a pedel. ive bled them no air or anything. but i have the rear brakes crimped off untill i get the money for the hard lines to the back could that be the problem? and could i bleed the front without doin the back?
gl1200aman Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 The haynes manual says to do the rr first then lr and then do the rf and lf last. If you just crimped the rear lines there may be air in the line between the master and the crimp. Did you make sure to keep the master full during the bleeding? If not, you may have fluid coming out but there may be air bubbles in the line between.

gl1200aman Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Have you thought of removing the line at the front fitting and putting a plug in the hole? There may be enough air in the crimped line.

Eagle Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Read up on bypassing the height sensing valve. And it's "brake" ... not "break."
