Mongo
Does anyone know if Precision injectors will take a payment other than Pay Pal? I have had a time trying to place an order with them and am thinking of just bagging it and buying new or overhauling mine.
shark
why not just use paypal? its easy to set up and is the safest way to buy stuff online.
jimoshel
PayPal is crooked and will cheat you if given the chance.

terrawombat
Ahh, yes, Paypal. It's one of those online services that will either score a 1 or a 10, but never anything in between. It seems like when they screw up, they screw up BAD, like locking out accounts that have several thousand dollars in them or even taking money from the bank account directly linked to your Paypal account. I've heard dozens of stories, but I have yet to hear one that was so completely unjustified it would make me close my account. I have been a Paypal user since 2000 when it was formed and have done several thousand transactions using their service. Never have I once had any complaints with the service. I've never had money 'frozen' in my account, never had money taken, and have even had several disputes resolved by the Paypal investigation team that earned me complete refunds on items I never received. Now, I understand that those negligent sellers that did not ship me my good got screwed because Paypal likely just stole the money out of their account, but tough $#!&, that's what you get for running an illegitimate business that does not deliver goods when they are paid for. I'm not talking about stuff getting lost in transit, either - that's the shipping company's fault - I'm talking about refusal to provide ANY documentation that the product I bought even existed or was shipped to me. During the Microsoft Bing Cashback era (that just unfortunately ended), the use of Paypal netted me $300.00 in discounts on items purchased through e-bay - items that I was going to purchase anyway were discounted to me because I used Paypal (for free) to purchase them. jimoshel
I first signed up for PP in 2002. Was very happy with it. About a year ago they offered me a PP credit card. I declined. I purchased an item from EBay and paid the usual way, deduction from my checking account. $40. PP not only accepted my $40 bank deduction, they also added it to my PP CC, which I did not have. $80.Numerous USPS, Email and phone calls were futile. All they wanted was their money. Finally I sent them another check just to get them off my back. That's $120 I've paid. With that payment they stop billing me for the principle but now they're billing me for penalties, fees, late payment and interest, so far over $220 and still adding. I am saving every bit of correspondence and waiting for them to take me to court. However they will not do that as they know they can't win so they just keep the harassing phone calls and mailed billings going. Frankly if they don't take me to court then I will take them. Already talked to my lawyer, he's just waiting for the go ahead. I will never use PP again and I cannot recommend it to anybody.

You declined a credit card offer and they gave it to you anyway? Any time I've signed up for a credit card there was a fairly long and intrusive application including things like my address, SS#, yearly income, etc. Now, when you sign up for Paypal, I'm sure you give a lot of this info to them (it's been 10 years since I did, so I don't really remember). It just seems odd to me that there wasn't some middle step that was taken, like accepting an offer. Sometimes, when I sign into my Paypal account, I'll be greeted by their latest CC offer, which I usually just decline and it takes me to my account. Did you, by accident, click on something like that?
jimoshel
That's pretty much it. They offered. I declined. There was no application form or nothing. The next thing I know is theey're billing me for a PP CC purchase, after I already paid by check.
