Another no start

after looking under every search i could think of i couldn't find what i needed. my 89 4.0 ba10/5 suddenly won't crank. it started fine, then 10 minutes later suddenly won't even crank, all power is there. Figured it was the starter, but that checked out to be good. any ideas :help:

never thought of the starter relay, ignition switch is in the steering column correct?

The actual switch is on the base of the steering column. The key lock connects to the switch with a rod.
