jbilly Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 More bad news on the MJ ( if you saw the inspection fail thread), I was coming home last night and I was coming down a hill to a stop sign. When I got to the stop sign I couldn't shift into gear and the clutch felt very very loose. I'm going to order a new clutch and I want something that I won't have to worry about for a while (something in the range of 100-250 perhaps. Any good suggestions and where I could buy it? I have a '90 Eliminator 4.0l 5spd. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Eagle Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Your signature indicates that you HAVE a new clutch. So before you replace a new clutch with another new clutch, how about seeing what went bad? I would suggest first looking at the hose between the master cylinder and the slave cylinder.
