Unglar
I picked up a '90 AX-15 and was thinking to replace the AX-15 in my '92 that has the 3rd gear problem. It should bolt in, however, are all the connectors the same? Renix in the '90 and HO in the '92? Or am I way off base? I can't look since the '92 is in Oregon. Geonovast
The tip of the input shaft for the pilot bushing is a different size. Otherwise, for your reverse switch, if the plugs are different, simply swap the 92's reverse switch in on the 90. What's wrong with 3rd gear? Gjeep
Reverse switch plugs are the same. Am curious though if you can confirm your '90 AX-15 is a 23-spline as well. I know "all AX-15's are 23-spline" but...I am doing a swap (Renix to H.O) soon and would like to learn what spline count yours is. Thanks
Unglar
What's wrong with 3rd gear? I can shift into 3rd gear just fine, and it will stay if coasting, but as soon as there is any load on it, it pops out. Reverse switch plugs are the same.
