64 Cheyenne Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 My understanding is that they are used to correct camber in an axle that isn't within spec. Most axles won't need them unless they are to correct an alignment issue. If the axle is within spec as measured on an alignment rack then adjustable balljoints are not needed.
