Can i use a comanche hood with a 99 xj front clip ?

Hi, i found a front clip off of a 1999 jeep cherokee. It comes with the header panel,lights and turn signals and the bumper. Some one already claimed the grille :roll: . The junkyard wants 150 for it all and it's in imaculate shape. I'm just wondering will i have to buy a hood aswell ?

you don't need to swap the hood...they're the same.

 

but you'll want to swap the fenders.

this is the album with pictures. it's all bolt-on. took me around 4 hours, but that's with dealing with my beefy front bumper.

Yes the front fenders are different at the front edge... they are rounded to match the new style header, the old ones are angular. I have seen someone add some fiberglass to the corners of the header and then sand it to match the old style fenders. May be a good trick if you can't get new fenders.
