Eagle
The seal is a bead of urethane sealant. Are you looking for the trim gasket?
64 Cheyenne
My rear slider went in with a rubber gasket. My friends slider went in without. It was made by a different manufacturer. Both types of windows are really held in and sealed with urethane auto glass adhesive/sealant. If you had to, you could use glass setting blocks, they go on the bottom to keep the glass centered. then install the glass without the gasket. After all the gasket is purely aesthetic. This is what I was going to do. Then I was going to use more urethane to fill the gap, possibly mask off and paint a black "frame" for a finished look. What about has anybody ever took a look at the front rubber "gasket" as used on newer XJs to be used as a pseudo backglass gasket?
