how to enguage 4wd

what do you recommend is the best way to enguage the 4wd on my 89 Comanche. i had a 96 xj that was a "shift on the fly system", is my mj the same

should be the same as your XJ

You can shift in to 4wd at any speed. DO NOT shift from H to L at a speed faster than a crawl, 2-3 MPH.

Owners manuals in a used car is as rare as a virgin in a cat house. Whenever i go to the JY I go thru all the cars and get every manual I find. Probably got several hundred of them now. Someday I'm going to catalog them, run a ad on ebay and retire. :D
