bed removal

i am currently in the process of removing my bed..i have gotten 6 bolts that attach the bed to the frame..i have removed the spare tire holder and the ebrake bracket as well...i was wondering what else i have to remove in order to take the bed totally off

Find 2 more bolts and don't forget the gas tank. It's fastened to the bed.

yea i thought there might be a few more..wasnt too sure on the gas tank but thought the straps were attached to the bed...and yes ill need luck being as one of the back bolts closest to the bumper stripped on me :mad:

That happened to me, too. I got all the other bolts out, the tank off, and lifted hard up on the bed from the other side, until the bolt broke or pulled through the bed. My bed was going to scrap anyway, so I didn't care. If you are putting the same bed back on, you might have to be more gentle!
