jimoshel
Low Rev synchro is worn. Or broken.
Geonovast
Reverse doesn't have a synchro. Change the fluid, make sure there's not any/a lot of metal debris. If that doesn't work, I would think you're having a clutch problem. Luckily for you, you have an external clutch, and it's easy enough to bleed. Eagle
The clutch is dragging. Test: At a stop light or sign (or anywhere), when you feel resistance shifting into first or reverse ... shut off the engine. If it shifts then, your clutch is not releasing fully. Chances are pretty darn good it's a clutch problem, not a synchro. Soo.... eh. Even if Reverse had a synchro, it wouldn't be shared with 1st.
