plug wires to dc???

Recommended Posts

Next time change the wires one at a time....

Quick story... When I was a kid a was doing a tune up @ school, on a 6 cyl '67 Chevelle. I KNOW I should have done the wires one at a time, BUT I found a pic plainly showing all wires and where they went. SO, I pulled off the cap, wires, rotor and plugs and started changing everything for new.. Don't you know that the motor must have "jumped a tooth" on the timing chain as the thing wouldn't run rite until all where advanced one hole... Problem was, it blew off and blew out the brand new muffler another kid installed...
