JEd Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Well I've been browsing this website for a while and don't think I ever signed up. Today seems to be as good a day as any, and I'm bored at work. I've had my MJ for a while now, but it's been sitting for a year or 2 with very little use. I'm feeling sorry for it and about to start using it again. I know I've posted pics on various websites before, but you probably haven't seen it. It's heading to Superlift in Hot Springs next week end, and I'm getting excited. If y'all ever think you can gather enough MJ's for a run to Hot Springs let me know and I'll set it up. Jed
Hot Rod Jeep Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Well I'll be the first one to say welcome to the club! And that's a sweet MJ! What's the specs on it? 8)
JEd Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Thanks!! It's an 88 4.0 AW4 SWB 4X4 The lift is mostly Rusty's stuff. Front is the stock D30 with 4.56's and a Lockrite Rear is an 8.8 with 4.56's and a Detroit. Tires are Q78 (36 X 11.50 or so) TSL's on 15X8 Rockcrawlers.
Hot Rod Jeep Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 How you like wheelin' with an auto? Sounds like a pretty good set up. 8)
Oizarod115 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 sick MJ. love those tires, always have liked the tall skinny look on the XJ/MJs love the bumper too. all in all looks clean, body appears straight as crap too.
JEd Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 How you like wheelin' with an auto? Sounds like a pretty good set up. 8) Off road a prefer an auto, on road I prefer a stick. I've got a TJ that is a stick, but it's just a pavement pounder so far.
JEd Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 all in all looks clean, body appears straight as crap too. later on in the same trip from that first picture.....
wombat Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 welcome. are you from the arkansas area i take it?
87manche Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 well, that happens. Just think, if it was an XJ you woulda screwed up a door. Seems like the beds take most of the beatings, mines got a few nice dents.
JEd Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 It's not nearly as clean as it looks in pictures. It was fairly dent free before that, but it looks like it once got washed with a rake. It's pretty much just for 4x4 and hunting now, so I wasn't too torn up about it.
