Factory alarm

I'm working on a 91 Cherokee limited and it has a factory alarm. the problem is it always stays on and kills the battery. so i was wondering is there a way to disconnect it?

I think its built into the harness/PCM... Do you have a remote?

no the only way to shut if off is to unlock the passenger side door
