AMC-MJ
I'm confused now, changed the Map sensor, and it combined the 2 problems ! Now I have steady smooth idle and good throttle all the way to wide open. Then It Randumly jumps in a rough choppy idle where it won't accelerate. But I'm also on the RED square of the gas gauge. Now food for thougt when it acts up now ? I can shut the key off while idling or driving restart the truck and it runs perfect again ? I now have the battery disconnected to give that another try . . . Then its off to get gas . . . Ill report back ! Just think about the above info truck acts up shut key off restart truck runs good for a while then repeats the cycle . Mike
AMC-MJ
Quick thought just popped in to my head :wall:, what if some thing cause a momentary clinch in the system ? Say a wire with abre spot is floating around catches some thing shorts for just a split second would that cause it to malfunction or misreading until reset by shutting if off and restarting it ? or A leaking vacuum line is leaking but it run able till some thing drips into the leak causing a momentary misreading or malfunction until reset by shutting if off and restarting it ? Or Am i way off on this a momentary thing would cause a stumble then it would automatically recover ? Mike
