M1A1TankerTom Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 hey guys, does anybody know of a step by step guide on how to take out and then replace your manual window regulators? I searched the forum and saw a couple people have replaced them but nobody really explains how. Even a good picture of the inside of our doors would help, I can't even find that....my haynes manual has tiny pics of only a small portion of the door (and of course does not cover anything on the window regulators). Any help would be appreciated.
HOrnbrod Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Suggest you invest in a regulation Factory Service Manual for yor year. If you are going to do your own repairs, it will pay for itself many times over, especially on this simple repair job.
M1A1TankerTom Posted March 2, 2010 Author Posted March 2, 2010 ah I feel like a dope. Once I pulled the door panel off and stuck a light in there I realized replacing a regulator is a piece of cake. Just pop the rivets off and pull it out!
