JOMJ87
SO guys give me a list of your hookups you might have. Oh yeah how much does it take to do my floorboards I'm talking everywhere the hump and all covered in it??? Cole
GirsMJ86
you are talking about my favorite stuff. and i bet i might be the only person on here who has used it so far. just get a quart and you can give your floor and nice strong double coat. use their fiberglass patch to with it to cover any holes. and if you have rust use the silver kind because it has ground aluminum in it. i just get it direct from them offline. oh and their por patch is really good for filler too. and their hardnose paint is as strong as nails. JOMJ87
I don't have any hole but alot of surface rust. The Original owner of it off the lot was in FL and then the PO before me moved to my home town and worked with my dad and me at a tool and die plant. Thanks for the info. 87manche
online is killer for shipping though. Find an industrial supply place, they may have it. I've gotten it locally at a muscle car swap meet, vendor had a booth.
Car RamRod
I used engine enamal to paint my sbf, heads and block took about 1/4 of a pint, not even. Year later it still looks great.
jeepthing07
Cheapest place I found was por15outlet on eBay. I buy the 6 small can packs so I don’t have 1/2 of a big can go bad on me. I have had good and bad results with the stuff... some times it sticks really good some times if you can get it to lift you can peel it right off sanded and metal readied clean steel, I never paint directly out of the can I always transfer what I'm going to use into a plastic cup as not to contaminate the can. JOMJ87
Sweet I am going to look on ebay and see the price and prob order some. I wish they made this stuff in flat OD and i would repaint my whole truck with it. :D I have heard alot of ggod things about it so i will see. One more questions: It goes on good with a brush?? I was thinking when i seen it in gallons and stuff those were for spray guns but then i seen the starter kit and it had brushes and then Ya'll are talking brushes> Just thought id ask. GirsMJ86
ok so you are wanting to do like i wanted to do, paint your whole truck with it. i am going to do just that in the near future. get some of their por strip stuff, por-15 the whole thing with silver after prepin the metal, then use their hardnose paint over the por-15 so your truck is everything proof but still has a nice gloss to it. look into the hardnose paints if you are thinking about doing that. and i forgot they came out with the 6 pack kit. do that so you only use what you need though. but silver is the best for surface rust since it levels out the best over it. they all will level out with a brush really well also no matter what angle. JOMJ87
Yeah if they had the color i wanted i would but i just spray painted the whole thing OD green so it wouldnt be right now for the exterior. My main concern was how well a brush worked on applying it. Sounds like this is great stuff. I will find the silver and use it. Thanks alot Cole

Alex I know i read all the por15 instructions, i have used 7 small cans of the stuff on my jeeps. i chemicaly striped my tailgate and sanded the bare steel with 100 grit and it stuck fine no problems... then i did the same thing to my bed rails and for some reason i could peel it off... :dunno:
