That part number don't sound right :hmm:

 

You should have -

 

4.0 - '87-88 = Manual #5409 - Auto #5406

4.0 - '89-90 = Manual #5429 - Auto #5428

 

That's the last 4 numbers on the label (IE: 5400-5428)

 

 

But your starting off with 5300 XXXX

It's a Mopar replacement (field service) computer for an 87-90 4.0 Renix M/T truck (my truck is a '90). It's referenced in a TSB I found on Alldata 18-54-89 Rev A, Dated 12/23/89.
