bighause
I need to replace my cracked manifold and can only find HO manifolds. It looks like the angle of the collector is different so I would need to change out the down pipe but is the rest the same? Will the EGR tube match up or should I keep looking for a non-NO manifold? Thanks
Eagle
The newer ones don't have an EGR valve, so that's a problem. Also, the HO heads have the ports higher than the Renix, and the ports are shaped differently. People have been able to use the later manifold, but it's a kludge at best. bighause
Good to know, I guess I'll keep looking. Not sure I want to spend $300+ on a aftermarket header for a $1200 truck.
