PlumCrazy
The PO (or PO/PO) installed (then removed) an aftermarket radio and cut those little bitty vacuum hoses behind the heater/AC panel. First question: Are there splices available to repair the cut ones? Second question: If not, does anyone have something laying around? Third question: It looked like part of the V-Switch was "jumpered", factory or possibly by the same PO, so is there someplace I can look to tell me where each of the colored hoses plug into? JOMJ87
Just take bigger rubber line and slip over the old it should hold good. Cole
PlumCrazy
They are about a 3 or 4 mm hose...I'm lucky if I can find 1/8" at the box place. I guess I will call the stealership and see what they have Thanks for the reply Wayne S
Wildman
PlumCrazy- First, welcome to the form :D the simple repair to vac lines cut/broke are using Heat Strink tube, sliped over the cut lines and well, heat fitted. I can't help you on the wiring, I don't have the shop manuals for this, others do and might chim in on that. If you don't have a Chilton's or Hayes book, pick one up, and alot of info will get you started in the right direction. I like Hayes over the other.
