blusteve Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Picked up a doghouse and doors for a front end conversion on my 91 shortbed. Doghouse looks to be a fairly easy swap-unbolt and bolt on new sheetmetal. Found a thread for headlight wiring so that will help. My question is how to use the doors frpm the 2001 on the 91. The new doors are power windows-etc. and the wires are cut. What can I do to make them work. Any help will be appreciated.
AmJay Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 It should just require a battery and ground source. The window switch in the door switches polarity to the window motor to make it go up or down.

They have a different latching mechanism that has to be switched over also... I'd hate for ya to get the doors on and go to close them and have one of those  Moments. Rob L.
