photobucket question for the experts

Photobucket has been getting suckier and suckier lately.....I know it's free but page loads and new picture uploads have become painfully slow for me, and it doesn't matter what PC or type of connection I'm on.

I've got 42MB of pics, which doesn't really help the situation either. I need to delete alot of them....is there any way to "mass delete" a bunch of pics at once (select several and delete) or do I have to delete each one seperately, one at a time?

If you have to do each one individually, I'm gonna need alot of beer to keep me company....

When you hold your mouse over a pic, the drop down will have a little box to check. Do that to all the pic's you want to delete then at the bottom of the page you will see a new tool bar that allows you to delete selected.

I have been on there for many years. I was having this problem back then and solved it buy buying in to them, Now I never have speed issues. I am on DSL so I am fairly fast connection, but its not cable fast... I don't find it expensive and love the service anyhow so I recommend just buying a plan...

Also, maybe do a disc clean and clean out all onld junk to overall speed up your machine.

as CWLONGSHOT said, cleaning up your machine , or even adding more Ram to help speed it up, doesnt matter how many pics or vids you have uploaded to photo-bucket, there limit is 400mb and usually tops out at 79% on a free account. I myself have used up 2 free accounts with 3000 plus pics/vid of just build/offroading in the last 2 years. If you start deleating pics that you have posted on forum sites, you will loose all, and when you come accoss a past post of yours, with a added pic, it will say its been deleted.

It is easier to make a new account with a new e-mail address/password, phony or not because thats all they require to log in, photobucket does not remember your IP address
