Well i took everybodys advise and decided to upgrade :bowdown: I think it is a wise idea here's a pic of my old Dana35...... and the xj 8.25

The only thing I don't like about the 8.25 is the leading bottom edge grabs everything.

 

When I was wheeling both the MJ & XJ,

the MJ would glide over more stuff with a low hanging D60 & 33's, than the XJ would with the 8.25" & 32's.

Got any tips on how to remove the spring perches and shock mounts? I'm afraid of cutting into the axle tube. I see and angle grinder in the pic.

I just took it slow with the grinder. just cut thru the weld on one side, and use a hammer and chisle and the other weld will break. It's not as bad as you think.
