Tool Trailer

I'm a shade tree mechanic, work and tool storage has always been a problem. Not any more, picked up this trailer today about 5 miles from my house.

It's an old office trailer, 33 ft long, has 2x4 walls, DX AC, swamp cooler, electric forced air furnace, built in 110v refrigerator.

There aren't any water tanks (never were or intended), has bedroom/private space upstairs (my daughter has already taken "dibs" on this), built in closets and storage.

I have some maintenance to be done before I can really use the space but so what?

The floor needs repair, the door needs to be fixed, and I can't wait to move in.

I sold my old trailer to my Uncle for fifty bucks it was a13 ft 62 Aris.

The trailer was made in 85, probably got dragged all over this region in the last 20 years, it still seems to be in pretty good shape.

I was told the trailer was custom made to be used in the oil fields of N.Dakota.

Only bad thing is if I ever want it moved, I don't think either of my MJs will be up to the task :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: .

If I ever wanted to change directions on this IE: trash it from the frame up, I still got a stout 5th wheel that I could make a car/toy hauler,or maybe a hybrid camper toy hauler with a pop up or maybe shorten the upper rear structure to have a flatbed rear...........

I could put the MJ that I paid a hundred bucks for back there.....Endless possibilities

And all for only $375.00 plus $50 to move it

Naw, I'm not going to live in it,(not yet anyways :rotf: ) it's just for tools and workshop. The XJ was toast when I got it, never had any intention of resurrecting it, it's giving up tilt column, air, cruise, front axle, for my red 87. The BA-10 and 231 went into my 88, when I got the 88, it's tranny was bad and I just happened to have one in this 89 XJ.

Last of all the XJ gives me a excellent running spare motor for either truck.
