Trying to find a thread on a custom hand throttle

I remember seeing a long, long time ago a post where a guy rigged up a hand throttle that was a bar that ran from the pedal along the tranny hump, to another bar that pivoted next to the 4wd shifter and had a handle on it.

 

The search function is being less than helpful.

 

Anyone remember that thread and might have it bookmarked?

I have one on the TJ as its a stick. Not something I use all the time, but many times when that third foot is needed its saved the day!!

 

I used a bicycle shifter, cable and brake adjuster thru the firewall to the TB.

i also have one on my stick but its in the manche...

i bought the kit from rubicon express... cost 32$ to the door, seemed pretty reasonable. its just a bicycle shifter like CW said but for ease the RE kit works well.
