4x4 shocks in a 2x4 ?

I just put the shocks from my 88 4x4 in my 87 2x4 and was wondering if these were any different in length, i can't tell if it has changed in height as it is currently not running and on a hill. I was considering a coil spacer and just wanted to see if these would compensate any

The same shocks fit both 2WD and 4WD.
