oldrusty
So i have been chasing a case of death wobble on my 89 for about 8 months now. I replaced a broken sway bar link, steering stabilizer, and checked, and double checked everytrhing under the front of my truck. I just couldnt find the problem. A couple people on here told me to have the tires balanced but I promptly dismissed that idea ( i changed from 1 set of wheels and tires to another and the truck still shook.) I finally gave in this evening and had a set of tires balanced and low and behold she drives great again. so to all of you that suggeated I have the tires balanced last spring.......I bow to you oh holders of the knowledge.......
oldrusty
got my winter tires spin balanced today. All were between .75 and 1.50 ounces out. Took them home and put them back on the truck.....and......it still shakes. As soon as you get it up to about 60 mph it starts to shake. WTF? :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
