I saw an ad for a tranny from a 4.0 MJ for $300 over in Sedalia (north of you about an hour).

Before you ask, yes IF I had money, I would be all over it. Son #3 wouldn't mind an MJ especially with deer season coming up. I also want an XJ to fix up for my wife and get rid of her suburban. All IF I had money. I officially refused to work for free anymore in mid Feb. My old employer owes me a huge chunk, but got stiffed by our customer so I may never get it. (sorry, sordid tale not worth getting steamed about.) Still looking for a new job.

nah, it's cool. I just wish I had the cash sitting around, since the room to store extra ones is now available.

 

4.0 tranny won't just bolt up to a 2.8 though.

 

CL post also doesn't mention if it's an auto or 5 speed.
