need help with 1986 2.5l question

i have 86 comanche and need a new engine, its the tbi model, what would i have to do to get the 2.5l mpi out of 1991 or newer engine. thanks for the help

i just read it only gives you 12hp gain of another site. and this :(The horsepower gained by swapping from TBI to MPI is not worth fooling over )

ya it has cracked block and has 200,000 miles i just want to by a remanufatured cause i want it my dd and to last long

Any 2.5L block from any year Jeep will work. (note that the older CJs had a "iron duke" 4banger and that is a completely different engine)
