I got a universal kit like that for my 94 Protege so that I could get rid of the stupid automatic belts. As it says in the description, modifications were needed to make it work. I had to cut up the pillar trim to mount the retractor. It turned out okay, but it obviously did not look factory.

 

You could make it work on an MJ, but you may have to get creative.
