ncmountainMJ
Ok for some odd reason now my 89 won't start. I dropped the fuel tank to remove the bed and thats when the trouble began. It will turn over and gets spark but the fuel pump won't come on. I hot wired the fuel pump and it is working. I checked the fuel pump relay and it comes on but then a few sec later it cuts off but the pump never comes on. Also after checking the wires at the relay I never get anything on the orange wire coming from the ECM. Is there any advice that you guys could give me as to what to check next... or mabey a bypass... any help would be appreciated!!
redneck23ms
did you disconnect the ground wire behind the drivers side tail light? if so thats your problem. that is where the fuel pump grounds
