back again with the wagon, shes a diesel

well not technicaly, let me explain

 

i know we have all seen those big dodge 2500s that are jacked up, have stacks, and blow black smoke EVERYWHERE,

well mine puts them to shame.

this thing blows black smoke that covers the sky. i would really love to fix it, but don't know how. is it something in my injectors.

 

its a gas engine, i don't want that redneck diesel image to tarnish my jeep pimpin

please help

A bad oxygen sensor often results in a rich mix, which prodices unburned hydrocarbons and black smoke.

 

It also destroys catalytic converters pretty quick, since the converter has to work overtime to try to clean up all that stuff.
