how so i get the transfer case linkage off

ya know those rods with the wweird things at the ends, connected to the little swinging brackets in the transfer case? how do you pop them out or whateever, to take the whole mess out?

Big screwdriver or prybar. Spray the end with a little lube first. The plastic bushing may come out with it. Or, you could just unbolt the shift lever from the t-case and take it off with the linkage.
