Timmaay Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I'm trying to do the cluster swap. I have the idiot light version with the shift indicator on the fuel gauge. I am trying to remove the whole cluster but I can't because the little cable that connects to the shift indicator is not long enough. How do I disconnect it? maddzz1 Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I think you need to remove the clear plastic lens to get to it to disconnect it. Then once its disconnected you can pull the cluster far enough out to get to the speedo cable in connectors. Be careful tho, the speedo cable clip brakes easy if you pull it to far.
